These Terms govern your use of Paw Encore (the "Game"), Android package com.hikoostudio.pawencore, provided by HIKOO STUDIO CO., LIMITED ("HIKOO STUDIO," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Game, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Game. If local law requires you to be older to agree on your own, a parent or guardian must review and accept these Terms for you. Do not use the Game if applicable law prohibits it.
2. License and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for non-commercial entertainment. You may not commercially exploit the Game, interfere with the service, distribute malicious code, automate or manipulate gameplay, abuse rewards, evade technical protections, or use our names, software, art, audio, text, or marks without permission, except where applicable law permits it.
3. Accounts and saved progress
Paw Encore uses Google Play Games Services on Android and TikTok authentication on TikTok to authenticate you to a Paw Encore player account. Authenticated progress, sessions, inventory, energy, posters, and rewards are stored by the Paw Encore backend.
A Google Play Games identity and a TikTok identity are separate Paw Encore accounts unless we expressly provide and you complete an account-linking process. We are not responsible for loss of access caused by loss, suspension, or deletion of the platform account used to authenticate you.
If authentication is unavailable or declined, you may use a non-persistent trial. Trial progress resets after the process closes and is not merged into a later account. Network access is required for saved progress and server-validated gameplay.
4. Virtual items, rewards, ads, and purchases
Virtual items, energy, progress, poster fragments, and rewards have no cash value, are not property, and cannot be sold or transferred. They remain subject to server validation, availability, balancing, and anti-abuse rules.
The first Android release does not include Play Billing, paid virtual currency, or Google Mobile Ads. If a future release enables advertising or purchases, additional platform terms and disclosures may apply.
5. Account deletion
You may request deletion through the Game's account settings or through our account deletion page. Deleting a Paw Encore account does not delete your Google account, Google Play Games profile, or TikTok account. Our Privacy Policy explains deletion scope and limited retention exceptions.
6. Updates, availability, and termination
We may update, rebalance, suspend, or discontinue the Game or a feature. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, fraud, abuse, security risk, or legal requirements. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice consistent with applicable law.
You may stop using the Game at any time and may request account deletion.
7. Intellectual property
The Game and its software, design, artwork, audio, text, and marks are owned by HIKOO STUDIO or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Game is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free content, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HIKOO STUDIO and its directors, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from the Game.
Our total liability arising from the Game or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Game during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$50. These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any warranty, liability, or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply.
Before filing a claim, please contact hikooStudio@outlook.com and allow 30 days for an informal resolution. If the matter is not resolved, the courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction, which means you may retain any right under mandatory local law to bring a claim in another competent court.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms when the Game or law changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required.
